I don't think it's too bad. It's clearly written by someone on the supercar-loving side of the obsession, but they definitely have mechanical sympathy and care about cars.

My problem is that you can clearly tell this list was written by someone who wasn't a car person. It's very basic. Wanting to drive the newest supercar so badly? The list identifies more with 8-year-old car kids than it does adults. How about getting giddy over cars faults? Or buying cars that are horrible choices and with putting up with them because we love cars?

It doesn't even graze the surface of what being a car person is about.

The first point is dumb, yeah supercars are cool, but I would much rather be thrashing around in a muscle car or 80's German car.

Thank you. You seem to get it. It sounds like the type of car person I was when i was 8, reading about supercars, ricing out my car of NFS Underground, thinking that was the greatest thing ever.

Now I actually own cars, and get all giddy about neat design faults on the S2000 i just bought. Also, I'd rather own a Cobra Kit Car than most all supercars.

Some WD-40 should fix that right up! Be sure to spray the discs as well. It helps prevent rust.

Hahaha NFS Underground. I wanted to show my little brother that game a few weeks ago, just so he could see what I played at his age. I somehow still had my old save file on the system, I took one look and thought what in the hell was I thinking when I thought a riced out Dodge Neon was awesome. Now that I own a truck, and have matured in my view on cars, you would never catch me dead in a Neon/SRT-4.
